Staff

Caroline Animal Hospital is staffed by four full time veterinarians. We also have a complete staff of trained veterinary technicians to help to give your pet the best possible care.

Dr. Deborah Grissom is the veterinarian in charge. She is a graduate of the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. She has an interest in Holistic medicine and has trained to become a certified veterinary acupuncturist. Her hobbies include horseback riding and reading english mysteries. She is married with one child, six dogs and six cats.

Dr. Lisa Tuttle is an associate veterinarian. She is a graduate of Iowa State University. She has worked in Maine and Virginia before coming to us in August 2001. Her interests include internal medicine and nutrition. She has also trained to become a certified veterinary acupuncturist. Her hobbies include horseback riding, hiking and reading. She has a golden retriever named Ollie and a cat named Chester.

Dr. Luis Melendez is an associate veterinarian. He is also a graduate of Iowa State in 1999. He has two cats that he calls "Chalupa" and "Gordito". He is originally from Puerto Rico.

Dr Emily Green is our newest associate veterinarian. She is a graduate of the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. She has three dogs that she adopted. She is particularly interested in Ultrasonography.
